How Do I Pick a Winning Bux?

Let's not forget my cat, shall we?

Today I was having this conversion with a group of people on the net. (Yes, I do actually maintain a social life!) And one of them raise the question, how do you know this or that program isn't a scam? Well, you can't! But that doesn't mean you should just keep your hands in your pocket and stop clicking! There are a few tips in helping you to spot a diamond among all those scams:

• Design. Good admin and business people pay alot attention to their presentation. Do NOT invest or join a program that has crappy interface or generic template design. Serious people who's committed put real effort into how their site looks and all the extra bells and whitles.

• Forums. Join a couple forums and regularly check out their upcoming and scam lists. The power is in the community. Good admins will keep a constant present on forums and their presents can give you a hint of what to come. Upcoming Bux site will also appear on forums to attract people. I recommend two, PTC Talk and earnmoneyspace.
• Earnings. Do not be decived by large click earnings/promises. Many of those will turn out to be scams. A good solid and most importantly sustainable bux site will have a not-so-generous Pay per Click rate.
• Feedbacks. Bux site that do not offer a feedback forum or support service deserves second thought. Suspicious people usually want to hide behind their websites and not wanting to respond or let people talk to them.
• This BLOG!. That's right. I don't have a list becuase there are plenty blogs out there offering that already. But I do NOT recommend sites I don't have experience in/haven't heard a good thing about them.

Finally I think I should recommend another one of my favourite, Incentria. It's basically the same as Clicksia with a better interface (Lookwise, functionalities are the same). Same pay rate same earnings. But that also means the owner at leat is serious about this business to put up two sites. Being an Aurora makes it a low-earning site but a long lasting one too. So, If you have already joined Clickisa, make sure you check out this one. Or join them both if you want.

Got paid today by 70Cents. Alot of people are saying its a scam but as far as I'm concerned getting paid is always good. Also, if you are planning on a large investment, hold your horses and see what happends next. If you can get free refs to join under you, go ahead. Otherwise I would'nt recommend spending alot of cash on this one yet. Only Time Can Tell, my friend!

A Much Needed Help

Well, guess what happened today? I got a call from Google offering help for optimising my Adwords campaign. Now to be honest, It has been abit of a bugger for me recently that I keep getting impressions but not enough clicks. And did I mention the impression is not nearly enough? So there I was listening to this nice lady keep going on about Keywords, Bidding and Placement etc etc. So if you do have a Adword account, go and refine your keywords, be more specific to get more impressions. And if you can afford it, increase the Click Bid a little bit, say, 0.02 instead of the default 0.01, that'll make your ad appear higher on the search list. So that's it for today.

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise! (Lesson 1)

Okay, no one want to read lengthy blogs. So I'm going to do this in short segement over a period of time. Make sure you check back every now and then to get the series.

Any serious people in this game knows that at some stage you need to advertise your program, be it your own, or one of your affiliated programs. Lots of people put money and time but at the end give up. Why? coz it's hard and sometimes (well, make it most of times) you get scammed. So the first lesson I wanna talk about is advertising through Traffic Exchange.

For those of you who don't know about this, basically you browse other people's website for credit, in turn you can use earned credit to advertise your own programs. But, there are a few things I wanna stress:

First, KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. If you are advertising through TE, you need to know different programs has different users, sometimes it can be quite varied. Majority of traffic comes from USA and China, that is a fact. You should carefully monitor the traffic to your program in order to determine the best time of the day to have the program advertised. No need to advertise when most of the users are sleeping.

Second, JOIN NO MORE THAN THREE PROGRAM. Do not spread your butter too thin. I recommend no more than three programs. Personally I'm on premium membership on two of my favourite, such as Easyhits4you, Traffic-Splash and Dolphin Surfing. Three programs should give you enough diversified viewers so that there's no waste in viewing ratios. You do not want a single user to view your ad over and over again, therefore wasting your precious credit.

Third, MANAGE YOUR ADS. Good programs will allow you more control over when and how your ads are displayed. This is VITAL in your success. As I said before, if you put all the credit to your ad and then let it run, it will dry up quickly without much feedback? Why? TE sites get alot of users, most won't bother looking at the pages and even if they do, no one wants to see your ad over and over again. If you can, alternate your ad's display time. Easyhits4you lets you choose the day of the week for the ad to be displayed, which is a great help. It is best to alternate the days so you can maximise your exposure to different users. For sites don't allow this, manually pause your add every second day. This is very very important.

On a side note, for programs such as Clicksia , Incentria and You-Cubez. You can do PTP (Pay to Promote) to earn money. That is for every visit through your ref link, you'll get a credit/money to your account. Now, you might be temped to use TE to generate income that way, BUT. In order for the visit to be valid, it has to be 1 IP within 24 hours. So if a user view your ref link program twice in a day, only 1 credit will be given. That brings to the management of your ads, alternate your displays to maximum the chance of different IP visiting your ref link.
